Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance toward the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point. ~ Harold B. Melchart

Hi again, Tint! I’m still testing out things on WordPress and learning. The submenus seem to be one way to post new blogs etc, but I wonder if they show up in my contact’s Reader? I have added a widget on my site which is supposed to show my last posts…but no way, there is only one, the very first blog I posted. hmmm

Hi Amalie (and here I thought you were commenting because you liked my post ;) )

I haven’t seen any posts by you in my reader and now, looking on your site, I see you have no blogs. The reader is, I think, for blogs if what I’m seeing is correct.

I always like your blogs, my friend :-) I was actually searching for a way to post a private note to you, but ended up with here. What you are saying, is that new posts(blogs) must be published directly on the
        mainsite?

Just teasing you, Amalie. I was just looking at a way to do private messaging on here with another blogger.

I haven’t had alerts from you at all. On checking your site, I saw there were no blogs, so I assumed that was why. I wonder if it just doesn’t alert one to new pages… but alerts one to new blogs. It’s just a theory. I don’t really know the answer, I’m afraid.

I checked the posts from your site as well..and only those posted on “Home” shows up in my Reader. Nothing from your Kitchen.

I think we’ll just have to accept that the extra pages won’t show in the reader…. unless there’s a way to force it that I don’t know about.

On a side note, I have activated a Contact me page, which will act as a pm feature.

I thought so too. I will check out later if it’s possible to post a blog on two sites, on Home and on for example on the submenu Echoes, without too much work.
Contact me is a widget, I suppose!

On you blog … I love it. Very true. Having “climbed” mountains in life and literal mountains this summer I can see why he describes life like this …

On your contact page … how did you do that? Wow!

      LOL Riete…. ;)

The contact page is easy. Just create a new page, then insert a form. All done! I should really put together some lengthy instructions to make it sound like I was clever, but… *sigh* it wasn’t clever at all.

Oh wow, that was easy! Thanks for the idea and pointing in the right direction.
I would never have thought of that. :)

I didn’t think of it either. I saw it on Meirav’s blog :) She’s the queen of all things novel and interesting!
