The quiet inbetween

22 Oct

I’m often asked, now that the tourist season is pretty much over, what it’s like during the week. We have one more weekend to open to the public, then the only public will be here during special events and pre-arranged tours.

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy the absolute peace. It’s tangible!

I had to pull out my notebook of user names and passwords to comment. I have seen so many pictures of “your place” I feel like it’s my home away from home. The quiet in between is nice, isn’t it?

I love the people, but I’m enjoying the quiet too. I’m glad it feels like your home from home. I hope it gives you the same sense of peace it gives me :)

Kom kuier!

What a wonderful place to work! Even the photos give you a sense of peace. I’d love to visit (well, who knows… one day … )

Oh Riete, I’d love it if you could visit! The sense of peace pervades everything here. It’s strange to think that we’re still effectively ‘in town’.

Well, who knows. You’re not that far away so I’ll have a look for next summer.

It would be wonderful! Failing which, we must look into breezing over your way. I’m dying to go to Holland!
